design your own unique clothes

Recently I started "customizing" my or my boyfriend's old clothes. This, in my opinion, is a great way to make use of useless pieces you once bought. More often than not you can use either the whole piece of clothing or at least some fabric of them.
Fortunately there are many ways for doing so: bleach, use pens, sew something on, use studs or rhinestones etc.
I personally buy additional material to make use of old clothes from ebay - a great place for these things :)
For this reason, I highly recommend going trough your closet and looking for pieces, which can be used for customizing - AND it is fun, especially when not working alone :D
